It opens with a bang on Sunday for Juventus. According to today's edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is now a step away from the purchase of Martin Caceres (24). Sevilla defender would be in Turin during the winter market on loan with a balance of 3,000,000 euros and then be finally redeemed by Juventus in June: the ransom was set at 7 million euros, 10 million total cost. In these figures, the Seville has no problem to let the defender from Uruguay, for this reason, the announcement of the agreement between the two parties should arrive shortly. The last obstacle to a successful negotiation is usually represented by Paris Saint Germain, the former Barcelona interested and ready to put on your plate already ten million in January to rip El Pelado the Old Lady.

Class player at RB, really.. I just can't wait to have Caceres back in the lineup!! he's improved so much in Coppa America and will shine for us, no doubt. Welcome back!!

As far as I know he had no EU-passport in 2009 when we signed him.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if we sign him considering how he has great work ethic and Conte appreciates that ability more than anything else. This time around he'll probably do better than he did in his first spell, but will he play as a LB? I can't imagine Licht rotating with him or on the bench.

at juventus he played at right..in Uruguay he played at left...he is better at left...

This news doesn't excite me much...he has heart and skill but he makes some crazy tackles and is a bit of a headless chicken at times :shisha:

If anything he'll have his heart set on leaving after that.
My guess is he will be first choice left back but will rotate with Licht if needed and an emergency CB. Although Bonucci has the first pick of the substitutes.

Sounds about right, except Motta may leave. Maybe Sorensen out on loan because I think he requires more first team opportunities.

Bring Caceres in in the winterand Hummels in the summer and wed have one of, if not the strongest defense in the world next season.
