Hubert Adamczyk signs professional contract with @ChelseaFC

Adamczyk joined the club at 17 years old from Polish club Zawisza Bydgoszcz, from a fee believed to be around £672,000 in June last year. A Polish youth international, the player has made 9 appearances for Chelsea's U18 side and one for Chelsea's U21 side, scoring 2 goals. He's been training with the senior squad on several occasions since February this year, as reported by Polish website Onet.pl.

Chelsea's Tammy Abraham targeted by Brentford on loan - sources

Highly rated Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham is a loan target for Brentford, sources have told ESPN FC.

Abraham is regarded as one of the best young talents to emerge from Chelsea's youth system in recent years, with the club hopeful he will eventually make the step up to the first team.

The 18-year-old scored 41 goals across all age groups last season for Chelsea, helping them win the FA Youth Cup.

The powerful forward has established himself as a regular in the club's under-21s side this season and he scored seven goals in six games in the UEFA Youth League this term.

Chelsea are now considering sending Abraham out on loan so that he can gain some valuable first-team experience to aid his development.

Sources have told ESPN FC that a number of Football League clubs have expressed an interest in signing Abraham on loan, but Brentford are hoping to win the race for his signature.

Brentford enjoy a good working relationship with Chelsea and already have Blues midfielder John Swift on loan at Griffin Park.

Wouldn't be a bad deal, imo.

Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that he wants youngster Jake Clarke-Salter to replace him in the first-team when he leaves the club.
Terry, 35, who is expected to depart from Stamford Bridge when his contract expires this summer, is an avid admirer of Clarke-Salter defender and has backed the the 18-year-old to fill his shoes when he’s gone.
‘Jake has a great attitude. I remember watching him a couple of years ago being in control of the game and a really vocal player,’ Terry told the Evening Standard.
‘He reminds me a bit of myself. He is doing great and I hope he goes on to take my position and get in the first team.

‘It was great for him to make his debut. I was disappointed I wasn’t there to support him because I missed the game through injury but watching it from home, I was delighted.’
Chelsea handed Clarke-Salter a new four-year deal in November so it’s clear the club have high hopes for the England Under-19 star.
The teenager is yet to make an appearance for the Blues’ first-team but he may have a shot next season when Terry finally hangs up his boots at the Bridge.
