WAGNH says KDB might be loaned to Saints next season. I think that's a good move. They're very good at developing young players and it could do him loads of good.

Yea I was really excited when I read that rumour this morning. Really hope it's true. It'll be a great opportunity for him to get playing time in England and especially, as you said, with Southampton's record on player development, it would be a great move.

I just hope they appoint someone soon already. They've had 3 months to think things over in terms of potential targets, and almost 3 weeks since the Final to think everything over once again.

I don't know. I feel like if they really wanted him to, it would have happened already. By now, I feel like even if he does wind up getting it, it'll be because they couldn't find/get anyone else. Basically using him as the last resort.

I'd hope so. I'm still not 100% sure on him, but if he does get the job, I'd love to see him prove everyone wrong. And I'd be fully behind him every step of the way of course

The only problem with giving him a year to "prove himself" is that he'd have to win one of the major trophies for the board not to go out looking to bring in someone new, namely Pep. I mean, how can you even top what we did this season?

That's my only concern about this one year thing. If they want to give him the job, it should be a long-term commitment, not a one-season trial which will most likely be judged as good or bad based on the trophies he wins or doesn't win, unfortunately....

Me thinks he should get a 2-3 year contract. It'll be an insult to Robbie to give him a 1 year contract.
