Bidone d'Oro: LOL!?

Juventus have four players included in the nominees for Radio 2 show Catersport's annual 'Worst Player of the Year' award.
Milos Krasic, Felipe Melo, Luca Toni and Amauri have all been put forward for the unwanted prize, while Inter trio Diego Milito, Mauro Zarate and Diego Forlan are also in the 10-man shortlist.

Genoa's Eduardo, Cesena's Adrian Mutu and Fiorentina's Santiago Silva complete the nominations for the Bidone d'Oro, which literally translates as 'Golden Bin'.

Previous winners of the award include former Inter duo Adriano and Ricardo Quaresma, with neither player plying their trade in Italy anymore.

The Bidone d'Oro takes into consideration the worst value deals for star names which explains Forlan's inclusion as Inter were unable to include the player in their Champions League squad, while Amauri has not featured for Juventus all season.

The winner of the award is to be revealed on December 17.

LOL. I could name 10 much more worthless players then these.. But this just says the Juve squad is too big..

Felipe Melo? one of the few decent players of 2010-2011 and loaned to Galatasaray where he is doing well.

No logic behind it.

Toni has done nothing wrong, Amauri done well at Parma and hasn't played since.

Militio and Krasic I understand.

Don't care for the other ones from other teams.

how is that fair to Luca Toni at all... he did a fantastic job based on his role. Milito was injured most of last season but did mediocre when called upon... it's only now he's doing God awful. is this only serie a? cuz Torres deserves this award.

Yeah but a few months of great play followed by awful play.

You could argue a slightly worse but consistant winger would've helped Juventus much more.

Krasic was awful for 6 months. It's between Mutu, Eduardo and Krasic

Krasic never raped Italy, Marchisio did though. Took him 50 seconds

This is a bit hard on Krasic & Toni
If this is a 2011 thing...they completely overlooked Krasic last season performance also...Mutu been effective this season...so I really think this is bull...

Martinez,ZBonera,Mascara,Lucarelli,AMauri

Amauri/Martinez for me, unquestionable.
I understand Krasic being there just based on this season because everyone expected more but compared to other names, no way- he at least scored a goal, Amauri has not played a minute. Basing this off of how this 'award' is handed out.

No he isn't, he's actually liked here . We have a large Serbian base in areas and Australia beat Serbia at the world cup lol.

I dislike Krasic because it's simple, if not for those 3 weeks where he was unstoppable we would be talking about him as being am awful purchase ( I know I am though) 15mil for someone who within a year cant get a game anymore and hasn't had a good one for months. I have 100 reasons why I dislike krasic. Im not bias. I dislike many italian players also. Marco Motta also that 1/4 italian they call Thiago Motta ohh also amauri

For me it goes .... Giacc> esti> Krasic. I won't judge Elia yet although for the price we payed it was a much better deal than milos

And what was Forlan doing on the list? He played few games and got injured and still is....

Amauri scored tons of goals for Parma when he was loaned out and Krasic was Serie a's best player in fall 2010.. Hard to define the thoughts behind all of those players in my opinion.. I mean.. I could find tons of junk players in serie a much much worse then the 10 listed

I love Krasic, but looking from an outsiders perspective and not as a juve fan, he flopped.

Amauri saved his ass, becuase of Parma lol, or else he would've gotten the award
