Aside from Messi being too high too early, Ruud absence in the top 10 is way decent.
Wayne Rooney above Kaka, Xavi above the best goleador Raul, Giggs above Seedorf who won the CL 4 times with 3 different teams, Gerrard above Inzaghi, Hierro 41 and Puyol 21 (Nesta 25) ...

With these lists it's always going to be subjective. IMO so long as the right names are there (disregarding the order) it's not a big deal.

Rail is too underrated. People keep harping on about zidane. Rail is Madrids greatest player since Di Stefano by a mile. It seriously pains me how underrated he is.

Raul should be higher to be fair. His contributions in the UCL were more than what Zidane did and that is saying something. The list is good though, just have that slight issue really...

Zidane doesn't deserve his rank, he didn't do anything special (except his magic goal). Players like Seedorf, Raul, Ruud must be highrated.

Zidane had a Cl career before Madrid tbf, helped Juve reach a number of finals and semi's (despite not managing to actually win it though)

Don't care really. As long as the correct names are on the list, I couldn't care about the order. Completely subjective.

to be honest i dont see much wrong with the list but i would have expected ruud to be higher, didnt he get most goals in cl 2 years in a row? once with manu then with us?

If it was a ranking of the top CL players in the last 5 years, i can say that Messi deserve his place.
Over the 20 past years, Messi is not as good as Raul or Seedorf in CL.

the problem is that Ronaldo doesnt really "perform", he scores goals. He doesnt get on top of games and dominate the offense from beginning to end, that's more in the style of rooney. I dont see any issue.

To tell you the truth messi should be on top, pains me to say it but its true.
