You would have thought Trabzonspor, who looked set for second place, would have been made away of that, though. Unbelievably, the Turkish side wasted time and seemed quite happy to hold out for a draw in the closing stages of their 0-0 draw away to Lille. Either they’re looking forward to playing in the Europa League or nobody told them about CSKA’s late winner. Oops.

Is there a connection between Cska and Gazprom?


There are rumors of Gazprom buying shares in
Saras (the Moratti family company) and Inter.
If they are true, looked like we gave our soon to be new shareholders a welcome gift.

Gazprom is Zenith. CSKA was never funded by Gazprom
