How top is De Gea?

I started watching football this month, ve heard he is a top goalkeeper, praised by legend Schmeichel. Is that true?

Krul, Chesney, Hart, Reina and Cech are all comfortably better.

He aint all that tbh, i personally think the belgium lad Atletico loaned from Chelsea this year is better.

They should've kept John O'Shea and put his as goalie lol

Despite a poor start to the season, de Gea has looked extremely composed since we beat Bolton 5-0 away from home. He doesn't look as nervous any more, and doesn't flap as much when faced with crosses. In my opinion, he has suffered because we didn't have a stable defence at the start of the season and his communication - in other words, his English - isn't the best. Think some are being a little harsh. Fair enough he made a mistake yesterday, but that shouldn't overshadow your opinion and it shouldn't be based to justify what you say. Think Cech hasn't been solid this season, but rarely gets criticised.

He makes great reaction saves. However at united, he completely ruins his games by making frequent bad decisions and flapping at crosses.

I still believe united should have bought the Roma keeper ( I know his name but my s key fell off and I can't be bothered copy and pasting a capital s )

De Gea has been too mistake prone for a top club.
