One is the third best player in the world atm, the other one is the rising star of the EPL. Nerman is better, but who is further away from their peak? aka who has more potential to fulfill? aka Who is furthest away from their peak?

Looking at the poll currently, it seems Balotelli is in the lead

Neymar is overrated and Balotelli is overhyped.

Realistically, they are currently one of the Top Youth Products in the World.

Who has more potential? Depends... They both play similar roles with diverse attributes. Right now, it seems Balotelli is showing it more, with his achievemtns in the past and current form. Neymar needs to join a top club before he can prove it.

Sadly, both have not proven anything on the international level where of course more players are deemed to be discovered, hopefully Balotelli can show it in 2012 and 2014 and Neymar for 2014. Specially with Neymar, he had his chance in the Coppa America, and he blew it if you ask me.

Gotze? Fine he does have a fantastic record with goals, but for crying out loud he plays in the Bundesliga, I'd like to see him perform in another league. In relation to Balotelli, Balotelli is proven to score in both Serie A where it's very difficult too and in the EPL.

Hazard? Great winger, and has tremendous dribbling skills and playmaking, but that's it. Actually he's not really knonw for his playmaking. But what has he proven? With Belgium he flops like no tommorow, against clubs like Inter he's no where to be found. He only performs here and there in Ligue 1, and I don't even have to go in depth with Ligue 1 LMAO.

Wilshere? In the words of Balotelli? "Wilshere, Who?" Seriosuly who is he? Sure a big bame in Europe, though I asked around people respond the same way. Wilshere has not proven anything, not with achievements, not with stats, not with records. Balotelli is superior to him.

This shouldn't even be a discussion. Balotelli has proven himself in the best leagues of Europe. Neymar is still riding the lulz of the Brazilian league.

Fair point. But you can't blame him for being better than the rest of those average joes. The same with teams in EUrope. Barcelona are the only outstanding team.

The Brazilian league is very underrated. People act like most of the best players of all time do not originate from Brazil
