Re: Barca B playing beautiful tiki-taka football
The future looks awesome
I mean i know it is Bate, but those guys are champs in their country and this is CL. We should really slow down in transfer market, even if it means getting bad result for 1-2 seasons. At least we lower the debt. And we can even sell some of the young players that are not Barca material.

Great match.. Rafinha <3
I know its Bate, but Bate lost just 2-0 against ACMilan first team in SANSIRO, Draw against ACMilan 1-1 in Belarus!!

1 Hercules 32 pts
2 Elche CF 30
3 Real Valladolid 28
4 Cordoba 28
5 UD Almeria 27
6 Deportivo La Coruna 27
.
13 Barcelona B 22

Re: Barca B playing beautiful tiki-taka football
didn't Barca B finish 3rd last season in the league? If that is the case then imo being in 12th place after finishing 3rd the season before is struggling.

Yeah, but they lost the best two attackers in segunda this summer (Nolito to Benfica and Soriano injured). Any team would take a blow.
They started playing well but losing unluckily, and since Cuenca moved to the first team they have been winning almost every game. And now Soriano is back and scoring a lot.

Re: Barca B playing beautiful tiki-taka football
Player's comments:
Montoya: Looked super fast as always. Had no defensive work. Shy going forward but took a good goal in one of his few penetrations down the flank. Very good link up with Cuenca.
Bartra: Was mostly invisible. Lost a dangerous ball and did a very dangerous (but spectacular) chip in our box.
Fontàs: Had little defensive work but he was good and faster than usual. Good distribution.
Maxwell: Riquelme boring.
JDS: brilliant, brilliant distribution, neat passing, long passing, control, ball keeping, even dribling. Has improved shitloads and is the best player in our B team currently (aside from Soriano and Cuenca). Knocking the door down to the first team to be Busquets sub.
Sergi Roberto: Kizz's protegee had a good match, being the most dangerous player during the first half. He runed tirelessly, but also showed somenice dribling and skills in tight spaces (pass to Pedro in the box). Not a typical La Masia midfielder, but very good too. He is Keita's replacement, but I think JDS is better and readier for first team.
Thiago: Bossed the midfield.
Isaac Cuenca: Best player on the pitch. I was amazed by the catalan hleb today. He played with great confidence, making things happen. Created 3 of the goals.
Pedro: Scored a brilliant goal, almost scored another one from a Roberto pass, and scored the penalty. It's a pity Alexis will start at the Bernabeu. I miss him.
Rafinha: Linked up well with Thiago, showed his great passing skills in 2 through balls to Roberto in the Box.
Deulofeu: He was kinda bad. The guys has the biggest potential, he needs to straigthen and make it happen.
Riverola: Played better than usual with good passing and winning back balls.
Muniesa: Showed some energetic defending, but wasn't much tested.

Re: Barca B playing beautiful tiki-taka football
One more thing, they lost the coach too. Enrique went to Roma. So if you calculate all the factors the dip in form of Barca B was expected in the beggining of the season.

Re: Barca B playing beautiful tiki-taka football
Keyword: were.
You said have been.
Anyway, doesn't matter, they haven't really been struggling since many weeks now, and they were playing good from the begining. If you go to La Masia thread, you can see me saying that they wouldn't have any problem to keep in Segunda when they were losing all the games, because they were playing good but being unlucky.

Re: Barca B playing beautiful tiki-taka football
1- New coach ( Eusebio for Luis Enrique)
2- Nolito, Edu, Abraham, Soriano"injured" (3 starters left the team).. add to them Fontas & Thiago both promoted to first team..
3- These players were replaced by RAFINHA (18), Deulofeu (17), Rodri (20), Muniesa (19), S.Gomez(19) .. 8 players from Juvenil "U-19" Plus 3/4 new signings..
5/6 players Out, 13 players In, new coach... its very normal to start slow..
=======
Its Obvious that Montoya, JDS (or Sergi Roberto) to replace Maxwell, Kieta next season.. Cuenca already promoted !!
Bartra? is he ready.. don't know i prefer sending him on loan.. hope Fontas have more playing time, he was very gd today ( but again he wasn't tested alot)..
Deulofeu still 17 needs to improve his decision making ( talented alot, but he needs to know hwhen to dribble, pass, cross etc..) Guardiola has work to do here!!
Rafinha is MOST promising, he's 18 but ready.. he has it all skills? passing everything.. his Workrate is Greaaat!!(which is the most imporatnt)!!

Thanks Free, I was going to ask about him anyway.
OMG this makes me so excited and happy. We all knew he had potential, I can't wait to see it used some more in upcoming years (hopefully in the first team)
He really is such a fantastic young player. Didn't get to catch the game, unfortunately.
