Coentrao was the reason why Iniesta was anonymous in the first half and up to the point where the third goal was scored, which was quite unlucky, a nice tackle on Iniesta bounced of him allowing him to control and pass to Messi, Coentrao had to track the run of Fabregas, he should have put more pressure on him though.

Coentrao was quite good for you guys, i doubt he will get more time any time soon, unless mourinho really wants him to be good right there, in an emergency.

A capable coentrao could be > than less at rb.

why not move and declare coentrao as a RB starter?

both wings will be on fire with them helping the wingers
i think coentrao was decent against INIESTA in the el classico that he played as a RB

in anyway coentrao deserves more playing time !!!!!!

coentrao is one dimentioal, it wont work, just like it didnt work him as DM/CM.

Marcelo on the other hand can play more in the attacking positions like wing and even RB if given chance.

Which honestly he could be in that spot. But I doubt we will ever see it happen.

Coentrao had a good Euros imo. Was good attacking wise, making Marcelo type runs/dribbling and was also solid defensively.

Marcelo is and will always be better. He's simply more talented. I don't think there was a defender with better attacking and technical skills than the this guy.

Coentrao is more balanced fullback, as much as i love marcelo, i will always vote for coentrao, especially against stronger teams.
