Coentrao is more balanced fullback, as much as i love marcelo, i will always vote for coentrao, especially against stronger teams.

This. Marcelo is still #1 and I cant see why Mou hasnt tried Coentrao at RB more often. Coentrao has played very well on occasions, but not really proven anything.

Coentrao would at least be better then arbeloa. his right foot is definetly improved from what i saw

coentrao has played well when he has played RB- one game that stands out was against barca which most people consider the litmus test..

i would just like to see him play there more

either that or just scrap the project and sell him, hes too good and young to be a backup LB

yes,i think coentrao would be a great defensive RB.at least much better than arbeloa.i like gobeloa,but he has been awful recently

thats experimented in the past and it didint work out either way.

considering it was his second game as RB, playing well against BARCA and only making a few mistakes in a completely different position- id say he did very well

But i don't understand why the referees are so interested on what happens on our bench jeez, they look more towards them than at the game ffs
