Jordi Alba or Fabio Coentrao?

Coentrao is better than Alba in almost every aspect. Alba is not better than Coentrao attacking wise (as a LB) or defensively. Coentrao has better workrate, better marking . The only thing that I think Alba is better than Coentrao is crossing, and shooting is debatable. There is no clear difference between attacking ability of Coentrao and Alba, I personally think as a LB, I would take Coentrao 10/10 times over Alba.

However, I prefer Alba/Mathiew partnership over Coentrao/Ronaldo. Alba/Mathiew just have such a great understanding and flexibility.

I know this is off-topic but Marcelo owns both of them with his eyes closed. Can't believe Madrid paid €30m for Coentrão!

Jodi Alba hasn't proved enough yet. I mean, Coentrao starred in the WC for Portugal and carried great performances in Benfica constantly. Jordi Alba is good, but can't really compare him with Coentrao,....yet.

coentrao doesnt even get that many chances to play, what current form lol


i think its astonishing that alba has become such a good lb considering he was initally a winger

Corentrao was initially a winger as well.
