I really feel bad for Flamengo. Their only defender is leaving and their team looks in shambles. ontop of that, Luxemburgo is terrible coach.

we definitely need some centerback and possibily a fullback. we wont spend all the 13m that came through danilo's sale. and we had already gotten most of that money.

i'd feel bad for flamengo except that i dont like them so much and i hate luxemburgo. besides, ronaldinho died to me the moment he chose flamengo over gremio.

its not alves' fault that he trains 5 days a year with brazil dude. it's not his fault we have a coach who's not even world class. it's not as if brazil have been performing well except for him. the whole team is shit really.

i stand by dani but of course he has to improve like the rest of the team.

This Barça-system-hides-his-defensive-ineptness argument doesn't make sense since he was very good for Seville too. May not be the best of all time defensively, but he's at least 7/10 at it.

Dude you can say that for every player on the NT. Maicon trains 5 days a year with Brazil and most witn Inter, but he never seemingly looks out of place within the Brazilian NT which where Dani does.

Only against Madrid.

Dani defends?? Laughing Dani is a 5/10 on the Brazilian NT.. I think I can make a compilation of his poor positioning and defending in each NT game.

Never said he did great defensive job for Brazil, just that he has the technical ability to defend decently, proven by his career record.

Performing to his level of ability for Brazil is the problem. He hasn't even performed offensively for Brazil either, in fact. To be honest, I think he never will.

The problem with Dani Alves when he plays for the seleção is that he tries to do to much. He always takes an extra dribble or he's selfish and takes stupid long range shots. If he keeps it simple like he does in Barca, he will be more successful. Defensively he has games where he will shut down the likes of C.Ronaldo but theres games like the one against Paraguay were Estigarribia was making him look like a JUVENIL kkkkk

There is a crazy rumor that there is a tiny possibility Montillo is loaned to Santos and Ganso is loaned to Cruzeiro (with part of his wages being paid by Santos).

Spanish club Malaga have announced the signings of three 17-year-olds from Juventude.
Alan Bald, Darlei Santos and Airton Michellon impressed the Spaniards during the Copa Cotif L’Alcúdia in August when the Brazilian club made it all the way to final before losing to Valencia.

Heh.

THE Ricardinho (2002 WC Winner), is the new headcoach of Parana... good luck.

While, Rodrigo Possebon has now signed with Italian Serie B side, Vicenza and Wellington Silva is back on-loan this time with Liga B side, Alcoyano.
