América-MG and Atlético-GO are very traditional teams tbh scratch

I don't get much the point people make about those teams. Trashing Barueri, Boa, Americana, totally artificial teams makes a lot of sense.

But Figueirense, Avaí, Ceará, América-MG, on the other hand, got where they are because of their merits alone. Even tho they earn much less than Portuguesa, Ponte Preta, Sport, Nautico considered "big teams", they could do much better. They should be praised and set as role models IMO.

  to Sport anyway

flamengo will probably lose at sao januario vs vasco and we will win vs gremio at the beira rio so it will probably look like

1-Corinthians/Vasco
2-Corinthians/Vasco
3-Flu
4-Coritiba
5-Inter

Some controversies today:

- Thiago Carleto confirmed América received a financial incentive from Cruzeiro to beat Atlético PR

- Bahia's official site is saying "may Ceará remain in Série A", despite the fact Bahia play against them next weekend.

- Apparently Diego Souza shouldn't have played vs Botafogo (not today's game) due to being suspended, which means Vasco could lose points and thus Corinthians would be champions.

soooo if the following is correct, Cruzeiro can be relegated, Corinthians can be champs and Ceara will stay in Serie A even before a ball is kicked on Sunday..

Heh.

I wonder how Galo fans are feeling at the chance to relegate their bitter rivals Cruzeiro... This would probably be the sweetest moment of their lives in recent history, probably even more so than when they beat Cruzeiro 5-0 and Danilinho lobbed one over Fabio.

Oh boy.

Atlético-MG's Mancini was convicted to 2 years and 8 months in prison by Italian courts.

BUT its a pretty useless conviction, as Mancini has no chance of ever serving in prison there as Braziilian laws don't allow Brazil to extradite natural Brazilian citizens (as in, not naturalized ones) to foreign countries.
