I agree Jibers, he a good player but he doesn't seem to fit in atm.

He'll probably get used to it though. He's quality he just has to adapt and if he doesn't he'll just go be awesome in another league where he will fit in.

Exactly. There is a reason that SAF isn't playing him at cb even when Vidic wasn't there. The hype he's getting is typical of the English media tbh. Won't be surprised if we are now favourites for the euros as well. Smelling for me is far better than jones, but gets no hype.

jones is only sxposed because he was played in midfield for most of his blackburn career and right back for us
he has very little experience of playing centreback, he has to learn the position

hes 10x better than pique was at that age

at rightback hes been scarily good, thats because its more ABC tactics and his ballskills shine through

anyone with a pair of eyes can see jones talent, at 24 he will be one of the worlds best..unlike luiz

to those of you saying you don't understand the criticism of luiz, you clearly didn't watch the game against liverpool. maybe he's better other times, but the context of that comment - the liverpool game - neville was right. he was out of position more often than not, played suarez/maxi onside several times, lost the ball in his own half many times as well and his passing was poor on a consistent basis. just because his mistakes didn't directly result in goals doesn't mean he wasn't awful. liverpool just happened to capitalize on other defender's mistakes, doesn't mean luiz was better than any of the others. he was utter crap all game long.
