Love the way Louise defends....he is a bit keen at times and plays in the wrong areas but he defends well overall.

I am struggling to think of 5 Cb's better than him at present.

Kompany, JT, Vidic are all injured. Pique has been poor, Ramos just got sent off.

Maybe Chiellini, Silva, Agger, and Puyol but even some of these guys haven't been at their best.

5 CB's better than him?

Koscielny, Vermaelen, Barzagli, Thiago Silva, Chiellini, Agger, Skrtel etc...

I think you should keep it calm. There are plenty of CB's that are better atm.

Of course he has potential, but still just against Napoli in the first game he had that horrible game, he can't be better than some of the guys who have performed for almost a year now.

He was very good yesterday, another Top performance in UCL for him. Some of his blocks and tackles were awesome. That goal-line clearance :bow: Man of the match IMO.

I think his positioning and reading of the game was masked by his eventual risk taking when he finally got the ball. Under Di Matteo, you can now see the monster of a CB that he really is. He has become a no-nonsense CB. Doesn't take those risks anymore(or at least not as nearly as before). He has been immense over the past 5 games or so.

I believe that he'll be one of the best - if not the best - CBs in the world in a year or two.
