Mercato Juventino Empty Mercato Juventino

Post by JuvenelCuore Thu Nov 17, 2011 4:33 am

A thread which I will be grooming and tailoring to keep everybody up to date as to what is happening in the world of Juventus.

Also will provide links and what not of players Juventus have been linked with.

My 4.000th post. Felt I need to make it special. :coffee:

Grazie Luca. Just thought it would be nice to make an organized section where people can learn more about players that Juventus are linked with, and any recent updates. Avoid clutter. :coffee:

Pazienza's agent denies that he has had any contact with Udinese amidst reports he was on his way out of Juventus.

Joksimovic [Krasic's Agent] says that Milos has rejected two offers already but says that the new two months will be important; whatever happens will determine his future.

Martin Caceres says it would be a dream to return back to Torino and play for Juventus.

Felipe Melo is rumored to have "called" Amauri to Galatasaray so an exit to them may seem to be plausible.

Josip Iličić's agent admits that Juventus and Inter have been in contact with Palermo and the player, but he will not be moving in January.

Neymar to Juventus is still possible, according to Italian sources.

Juventus have made an offer according to English sources, for long-sought after Brazilian Alex, from Chelsea.

Napoli contemplate going after Luca Toni, but Tuttosport claims Marotta is blocking the idea of it because Napoli are Scudetto contenders; he would much rather send him abroad or to a weaker club.

Luca Marrone's agent says they will evaluate the situation in January and a chance to move on loan is possible.

Will post more later. :coffee:

Adam Digby says: Considering Amauri's wages it's highly likely he'll move for nothing, saving over 2m€ in wages before contract expires in June

Today's News:
[Notizie di Oggi:]

Capdevilla is moving toward Espanyol, Juventus have lost out .
[La Juve molla Capdevilla che va verso l'Espanyol.]

Amauri is leaving in January; counting down the days.
[AMAURI ANNUNCIA: "A GENNAIO VIA DALLA JUVE. CONTO I GIORNI..."]

Sporting Director of Internacional: "Offer from Juventus for Damiao? This is not true, there is nothing concrete."
[Ds Internacional: "Offerte della Juve per Damiao? Non è vero, non c'è niente di concreto.]

Ciro Immobile: "Return to Juventus? First Pescara in A."
--> Basically, he will return to Juventus once he gets Pescara promoted. That would be wonderful, by the way.
[CIro Immobile: Torno alla Juve? Prima il Pescara in A.]

Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea do not move for Krasic.
[Juve, Manchester United e Chelsea non mollano Krasic.]

I like Ciro's news the best. :coffee:

Good news about Capdevila, he is not a long term fix.

Ciro is the best news, agreed.
Although...

Toni, Amauri, Alex ( Sad ) will all be gone
Giovinco will return hopefully
Ciro as well

Quagliarella
Matri
Vucinic
Giovinco
Ciro
Iaquinta (he can leave tomorrow)

How are all these players to function? I do not want to say goodbye to Fabio and Del Piero!

Then there is also a player like Pasquato who waits

I'm just saying, I see problems coming with the squad
Even if Juventus is in the champions league, this is 6-7 attackers who need minutes.

What happens if Conte plays one striker like against Milan?
Players will be glued to the bench.

He has some work to do.

Juventus can have:
- Quagliarella.
- Matri.
- Immobile.
- Vucinic.
- Giovinco.

I would demote Vucinic to be a very lowly depth player because there is much more quality. I would put Giovinco on the wing and play Ciro Immobile and Fabio Quagliarella, but knowing Conte, it will be Ciro Immobile x Alessandro Matri.

Either way, Immobile is a name for the future. I have followed this guy since he was 17-18. :coffee:

Vucinic is the most dynamic striker on that list, impossible to demote him at this point.

The best bet is a 4-3-3 with 3 of them being played at once
and still one player at least will get the short end it will be Quagliarella

Vucinic-Matri-Giovinco
Quagliarella-Ciro-Giovinco

Tons of combos, you can use your imagination

Either way, Conte has played one striker with
Vucinic
Matri
Quagliarella
Del Piero

Even playing two strikers, players are not going to be that happy.

Ciro Immobile will be a much better player than Vucinic and at this point, it would make much more sense to train and develop a 21 year old than a 28 year old.

I cannot see Quagliarella playing on the wing in a 4-3-3 and this concerns me. I mean, I would be willing to try him, but perhaps more so Ciro Immobile because he is younger, and will be able to be "trained" more.

Should have never bought Vucinic. :coffee:

Amazing attacking force. My problem is though, there's only two spots. Yes, we got two/three strikers who can play wide or the wings, but we got 6 wingers for those positions... who starts? There are ONLY two spots. Now this is what I would do.

With Conte we know, there will always be wings.

Marchisio.Pirlo
Krasic.Matri.Vucinic(Quag).Elia/Gio

Marchisio.Pirlo.Vidal
Quag.Matri.Giovinco(Vucinic)

Pirlo
Krasic.Marchisio.Vidal.Elia
Matri/Quag

Though in my opinion the best formation would be the 4-2-3-1

Marchisio - Pirlo(Vidal)
Krasic - Giovinco(Vidal) - Elia/Vucinic
Matri/Quag

Interesting and you make some good points, but what about Immobile ? I think he is too hot a prospect to not start, and he can find a million other places to go because of his form.

This is my ideal formation:

Buffon
Lichtsteiner-Barzagli-Chiellini-De Ceglie
Vidal-Marchisio
-----Pirlo-----
Giovinco-Matri-Quagliarella

Not sure if it would work, but that is what I would do. You can have a rotation as well as Immobile can play in the middle or even in Quagliarella's spot, who in turn can be put into Matri's spot.

I want Immobile to play. :coffee:
