They both hit the ball around the same time. Alves' leg starts going backwards after this specific impact. THEN the video shows the slight impact that Pepe might have made with his foot on Alves' shin pad. The impact of the ball was therefor the first which sent Alves' leg in the opposite direction -- not Pepe's hit to his shin.

It doesn't require a rocket scientist to acknowledge these simple facts.

He looks nothing like Alves.

That was a different game so its an invalid argument in this case but if you want to talk about that game then yes busquets shouldve been sent off hell when i first saw that game i thought he was going to be sent off... point of the matter is that two different refs two different calls you cant compare them and scream conspiracy...

Btw there is a difference between diving and making a meal out of a foul... why do i bring this up? Because at the beginning of the thread alves was a diver and he dived and got pepe a red card when there was no foul but now its a foul and because alves made a meal out of it pepe got a red card...

A ball could never carry enough impact on a person to make their leg switch direction if it was already moving in one, Pepe came flying in smashed his shinguard with the bottom of his cleats on the studs.

also i have yet to hear anything the disprove the argument made my senorpenguin, and myself. they both collided with the ball, pepes force was stronger which carried through the ball and pushed alves' leg in the opposite direction.

there's a reason why Barca are so hated sometimes. from Cruyff talks against Real Madrid to turning the sprinklers to interrupt Inter's celebration. i guess meaning of "More than a club" is not those things Barca does sometimes.

I respect Real Madrid for its history but not for its current manager and squad.
