Montella should have been retained or Pioli should have got the job or may be bring back Spaletti(must be cold in russia) , Martin O'Neill is without a job.. so there you have it

lol Pioli? To be honest, I never wanted him from the beginning. Neither did I want Enrique, posted all in the past. Although I completely agree with you about Spaletti as I also wanted him for Juve. Him back in Roma, would of been the best thing if you ask me, or retatining Montella would of been great.

P.S As you can see, I actually snubbed Pioli... no Italian favorism.

Mike is one of the best guys on these forums, not the first time I say this. Him, Wiggles, Pino and Devi are the top dogs in my book. To be honest, I see them more intelligent then me, though it still dosen't change the fact of how I take things into perspective. Devi for example has completely different views then me, however at the end of the day his heart and love for the club just gives me the ultimate respect for him. Wiggles who I use to always prasie and call 'God' is number 1 in my books with experiecne and having the best knowledge on this forum towards Italian football, his historical knowledge was a bonus. Mike, for his intelligent debates, with the Azzurri, Roma and Juve... the only guy who I love debating with in general and Pino... someone who has been following Juventus for 30 years, anytime I have a question, he has the right answer for me.

You still haven't mentioned who you'd like to see as Roma coach, Tony. Since your hate for Luis Enrique is as transparent as glass.

I completely agree with Mike's assessment of Montella's situation. Montella is virtually Roman. That's why he was not allowed to continue and that's Ranieri wasn't allowed to continue. They are far too close to the city and the club. Enrique brings an extremely fresh and neutral perspective to the club and he said it when he came in that he would he make his own decisions and NOT let them be influenced in anyway, for better or worse. I think that's a quality way of approaching your first major coaching role.

For what DiBenedeto and Co were looking for in a manager, Luis Enrique is the perfect match. Period.

Ranieri and Montella were too close, yes they were, how i is that a bad thing? Wouldnt it be nice to see a roman manage Roma?

Martin O'Neill is an excellent manager. I respect him for what he has achived at Aston Villa, the way he has evolved them into being selfsufficient and not buying rejects . The youth system at villa i think is second to man utd in England which probably is the best. I know it was a long shot but you asked for my picks and thats what you got.

Pioli for what he did at Cheivo last year.
