yeah 'somewhat quality'. When you think that Lazio used to have players like Nedved,Milan as inform Kaka,Sheva,Seedorf. Us trez,adp,nedved,canna,ciro ..... and now the top 4 lose and draw to teams that have Aquafresca as main striker or CAracciolo ...ffs that explains a lot .... If Trez left Juve in 2004 than it wouldn't be felt like Inter did with eto now that is quality ..

they used to be they had Nedved and scudetto now they have old Klose and Cisse and they manage to beat and draw against big teams.

Catania ffs wins against Inter draws against Juve. Lecce outplays Milan.

all have dropped in quality and they weaker have closed lets say 20% of the gap. If it was only one team to do that ok they've somewhat spend on quality but no its the other way around.

As I said though, they have all dropped in quality and you are looking at a time when the Serie A was at its highest point. For the last couple of seasons when Inter won every solitary year since Calciopoli and nobody could touch them, this has been the most competitive start to the campaign for a while.

I mean Milan dropped as well though. Napoli have dropped from a time when Maradona was there but now they are slowly getting back to it. It will take time but teams are becoming bigger and better. Juventus had the worst drop, but they will get back up there.

The truth is that you're so blinded by your rooting interests in Italian football that you can't even recognize when it has lost quite a bit of quality when compared to the other major leagues. I love Serie A, but I'm a realist and know that we're a long way from being where we once were. The loss of Juve as a dominant team in Serie A has done some horrible damage to Serie A's European profile.

I apologize. The youth quality has improved, I agree with that, but it kills me to see that young talent leave after establishing themselves in Serie A.

As do I. Not enough chances for youth and that is a sad reality. Teams do not want to play youth, and that is evident in every single side across the Serie A, bar Roma who have changed, and Udinese who tend to rely mostly on their academy players or younger players they buy for relatively cheap prices, and a few more smaller clubs.

Honestly, Napoli's model should be adopted. Bankrupt and in Serie C1 in 2006 to Serie A, Scudetto contenders, and Champion's League participants. They bought Lavezzi, Cavani, and Hamsik for under €30M; I believe it was €27.5M. Sensational, truly.

Even Sampdoria. They are a good model. Pazzini, Cassano, Poli, Palombo, Curci, Guberti etc. were all relatively cheap and they also did very well in the league having been like Napoli years prior. Now they obviously lost all of them above with the exception of Palombo and Guberti.

Juve will never win the scudetto playing their subs as starters. As Elm has pointed out, we need Krasic and Elia and Quags to be integrated into the lineup. Without them, we cannot win anything. If Conte prefers Pepe and Giaccherini to Krasic and Elia and Vucinic to Quags, then I am afreaid he will be out of a job by January. I love Conte's spirit and hard work, but at the end of the day he was run of out town by the Atalanta Ultras, so I am hoping the same thing doesn't happen with Juve. I know he is a Juventino legend, but so is Ferrara and Ferrara got run out of town, so Conte better be careful and start playing our best players so we have a chance at success. If we fail this year because we left players like Krasic, Elia and Quags to rot on the bench, then the blame will have to go to Conte.

Finally, someone with sense. People think tying Chievo and what not is bad without knowing that Chievo is tactically a very difficult side to break down, and even Lecce is a tough team. Hell, up until today, Milan had not beat them away in ten-years. And today they were down 3-0 so that just shows how much power they truly have.

The Serie A is a competitive league now, and that is the way it will remain. Smaller clubs have taken rise; look at Cagliari and Atalanta who are doing very well thus far.

Conte is not a racist at all. He is carrying on the tradition of ItalJuve. How many Italians were there with Del Neri ? Was he racist ? Ferrara ? Was he racist ? Nope.
