Inter Milan plotting shock January raid for Cahill

Inter Milan are ready to make a shock move for Bolton defender Gary Cahill when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Cahill, out of contract at the end of the season, was strongly linked with a switch to Arsenal during the summer but the move never materialised.
Arsene Wenger expressed his interest in the talented defender but, having been put off by his hefty price tag, instead opted to sign German international Per Mertesacker.
Inter have now set their sights on Cahill and, though they can take the England international on a free transfer in June, are ready to offer Bolton a fee to force through the deal in January.
