Mexes could make his Debut

Mexes could make his Milan Debut against Palermo, seeing as though Thiago barely had a rest thus far into the season. Nesta and Mexes to start according to the sources i've read.

I've been watching him ( Mexes ) in training allot and he's looking good, moving freely and scoring some goals in a training exercise. Good move by Allegri is this does happen as i was getting worried about T.S's form lately , he does look a bit off the pace. A must needed rest will do him good.

Now we get to see if Mexes have what it takes to make a claim for a starting role within the squad. I hope he does well for us, we're gonna need him if we want to be competitive this season.

I think it is Nesta who.needs some rest, Thiago is on a poor form but he doesn't need any rest, in fact all of our backline are on poor form.
Mexes is needed to refresh Nesta or Thiago, we need to use our back up as much as possible after a difficult start with a lot of injuries to avoid worse situation caused by fatigue.

Would playing Mexes against Palermo be the best idea?

Palermo are fast and Mexes, who was already pretty slow, is just coming back from injury to join an admittedly off form backline.
I like to be optimistic around on this forum but I think we may be shooting ourselves in the foot here

i agree with you biasedmilanfan3. I don't think this is the right game for mexes to start
if anyone between nesta and silva needs rest, it should be yepes who should steal the spot and not mexes

Mexes has been playing with the Primavera for some time, it might be risky starting him but i'm confident that he is ready.

Like i've said he looks very comfortable in training and looks focused. If he can get through this match without too much hassle it'll give him a good confidence boost.

Well I wouldn't mind who will play between Yepes and Mexes, the one who is more fit should play.
Though, I think Nesta and Thiago will feature in our next game but if Allegri wants to rest one of them, I think Nesta needs it more.

Is Nesta injured or what?

would have been nice to see mexes tonight instead of bonera. there was some talk in the media that silva might move upto midfield and mexes would partner nesta. not a bad idea....

Silva is good just about anywhere he plays so this could be a good idea
