Parma insist that it is far too soon to make a decision on the long-term future of Sebastian Giovinco.

The Italian international is co-owned with Italian giants Juventus and a return to Turin is being suggested following his impressive start to the season.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta indicated yesterday that the attacker could have a part to play for the Old Lady, but the Gialloblu have cooled the speculation.

“I’m happy with what Marotta said, but there is a long way to go before you can state that the player will be heading back to Turin,” President Tommaso Ghirardi told the Corriere dello Sport.

“Giovinco is co-owned between Juventus and ourselves right now. We’ll only talk about what to do with him next in June.”

The Tardini outfit signed a 50 per cent share in the Bianconeri youth team product during the summer, for €3.5m, after a successful loan stint in 2010-11.
