You can but he isn't needed, Romeu can do the job against smaller teams and Mikel against the big boys, Meireles IMO should not play there again.

That would block the way for Lampard.. I believe. Which is something AVB cant afford to do

Without him we won't be in the form we are in now. He's absolutely essential even if he is not the best passer in the world.

That was always the idea, franchise. I remember people saying Ramires can't create and we all said he doesn't need to. All he needs is a creator near him and we have a classy midfield.

In all honesty, I am really hoping Josh does a Sturridge and becomes part of the starting XI next year.

You summed it up. I can't imagine where we would be without Ramires because he is the guy that keeps the midfield going. People don't rate him because he isn't so technical but everyone forgets the valuable things he does which is ultimately why he almost always starts for us.

Surprisingly he already has 5 goals this season on top of that too, I hope he can get 12 by the end of the season. Who says he can't finish

I am still not sold on him tbh, maybe it is because my hate for unintelligent football players. ex: Kalou, Di Maria, and so on.

In the city game he made some really nice blistering runs, but all of them didn't result in any chances. Because he lost the ball in all of the occasions near attacking threat.

His biggest contribution was forcing Clichy sent off, and that result from Clichy poor judgement. Clichy didn't have to go for a challenge because Ramires lost the ball already, and surrounded by three city players.

He is good pressing, but he lacks discipline. The point is to press as a team, you only put your team at jeopardy when he randomly press.

Alot of those goals are tap ins though. His finish for his 2nd was quality and I wish he would attempt more of those when he's one on one. He usually just hits it straight at the keeper though.

If his first touch and passing could somehow improve I'm convinced he would be the best CM in the League. Future GOAT.

Now to increase his Food Allowance and make him gain some weight..

Great article on what Ramires means to us and is all about.

Honestly, he deserves the contract extension and show win player of the year.

For the love of god stop playing him at right midfield.

I was not a fan of Ramires in midfield as noted many times. But i am a fan of what he does on the wings. He is the only wing player we have who makes constant great runs. Sturridge, Kalou, and Malouda should take note.
