Ramires
I'm watching the Pool vs Chelsea game and I don't know why I haven't noticed this before but Ramires is a fouling machine. I mean he just runs around and fouls the crap out of anyone close to the ball. I don't remember him playing like this at Benefica, I remember him being a class player with great ball skills.
I know this may be a little harsh as he is a good player, but am I way off here?????
PS. I have nothing against Chelsea and I actually want them to win so please don't take this as a bash Chelsea thread.

He's a pest. Probably has the best stamina in the PL.

Re: Ramires
I just find it weird that he doesn't really show any of the skills that made him a 20 mill player at Benefica, and just runs around and fouls.
Like I said I remember at Benefica where he had great ball skills and passing ability and would pop up and score from time to time. IT's like he's morphed into an EPL destroyer.

I'm not judging him after one game. I have watched Chelsea play a bunch of times over the last couple of years as when you live in the States there one of the teams that's on every weekend plus we have to watch there games vs Genk in the CL over better games because there Chelsea and even non football fans in the states know who they are.
Now instead of being negative I asked a question and would like some feedback from Chelsea fans, am I wrong, is he not a totally different player then you bought from Benefica? Did you think you were getting a destroyer when you signed him?

Re: Ramires
He does go on saloming runs sometimes though defences, but not alot. More is a hard worker who gets around the pitch, does foul a bit but just due to him being rash sometimes I think.

I have not really been impressed with Ramires. He has great workrate but for a Brazilian, he's awfully English, technically.

Gary Neville: Ryan Taylor could play till he's 45 with Jonas covering him.

I read it earlier on Goal España, but there's nothing about it on brazilian or portuguese papers.

What's wrong with fouling? It's his job and he does it well IMO.

Worst Right Midfielder of all time when he is in fact playing right midfield.

Re: Ramires
Huge fan of this player. Been so ever since he burst onto the scene back at the Confed Cup. He doesn't have that typical Brazilian flair and probably never will, but that's quite all right for what he brings to Chelsea's play.
