Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
Arq after a point from about 50 minutes onwards, defense was an afterthought to everyone other than Khedira ,Pepe and for acute stretches Ramos lol.
Marcelo is fine, this always happens every year, Navas has his number but he's done very well defensively against quality opponents for a couple years now. His annual sodomy at the hands of Jesus doesn't change my opinion that he's a better defender than he occasionally gets credit for.

I can't agree on Marcelo as Navas is only one example of how many Winger/forwards have embarrassed him as he lacks some of the simple defensive know hows. Fortunately for Madrid Mou is intelligent enough to exploit him enough to use his strengths in his sublime offensive play which does indeed have Madrid playing in a better offensive dimension. For that he deserves credit.

I wish Madrid all the best and thank them for not buying Cazrola and going after Modric.

Clasico will be crucial.
It's not good... but point differences only matter in January. Barca will drop points. Madrid just can't drop anymore for a while.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
For the topic question, you might want to refer to the last BL season (or the one before, I'm too lazy to look it up): In the first match days, Bayern led the league by 8 points and were considered sure winners. In the end Dortmund got the title by a considerable margin. Never forget you first have to go all the way to the last matchday to win a league and lots of things can happen in between.

Now, if Barcelona still had Guardiola, it might be a different story. I rate Guardiola very highly (as most objective football fans do), and I believe he would have a good shot at sustaining an early 8 point lead over Madrid. However, with Villanova just stepping in as the manager, there is more potential for dropped points. It's not that he's a bad manager. He's simply a bit of an unknown quantity in the role of manager. There's still 8 months of football yet to play... Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

it happened while they were both about to fall on the ground, and the referee saw the front/right side of both of them while the attempted punch was from behind... not a single chance he could have seen that
