OT: France U-21 NT & Coquelin

He was one of the best players today and looked very, very good. In France, this team is unanimously considered the most talented for the country in a long, long time. Truly incredible talent and 2-deep at all the positions in this group.

Anyhow, Coquelin played very well... he showed skill in all aspects: duels, ball recovery and playmaking. Loved his game. Can't say he was the best player on the field because the team is so good. But he was 5th best after Varane, Guillavogui, Cabella and Mangala.

You guys should try and watch these games. France U-21 plays the Wenger system. Very attractive football to watch. Playing in Romania next Tuesday.

On a more serious note,

Coquelin is one of the players that I really really like. He's a Flamini-type player, only seems to be more well rounded than Flamini. His stamina is endless, he has good acceleration, the fight and aggression in him are admirable, his passing range and passing, in general, are very good and his vision is very good as well. He reads the game extremely well, especially for a 19 year old, and he is always running, trying to mark down players, and get the ball back.

He might become a complete midfielder if he continues like this, but I don't want to overhype him. Lets wait and see what the future brings, but for now I'm really impressed by him.
He's actually very similar to Lansbury, except he is better at some defensive while Lansbury is better at some offensive ones.

Coquelin played CM tonight. DM was Guilavogui (who scored both goals lol). Played very well in an advance role.

Also have Pogba and Guilavogui (reason Matuidi was sold and scored both times tonight; very good). Fofana didn't even make the team lol.

Coquelin played very well again in France U-21's 2-0 win in Romania. Pretty much does everything in the midfield.
