back to Tevez though. Who would welcome Tevez and Kaka on loan?

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
City are not selling/loaning Tevez to any other PL club.
I wouldn't mind Kaka... but he's actually starting for Madrid now. Not happening.
I honestly don't know who the hell we can realistically get in January, considering all the big purchases have to be done in July. Maybe M'Vila, dunno who else. I'd also love Rondón if he's going to be in Málaga's bench.

I don't expect big transfers, just speculation. But something's gotta change obviously. I think we could still get Kaka on loan because his playing time is inconsistent and he's really not vital to Real Madrid at the moment and Mourinho doesn't need an even more clogged bench

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Juan Manuel Vargas, the Viola winger and the man who lead Peru from the front in the Copa America, is attracting huge interest from English giants Arsenal.
It is also reported that an Arsenal scout will be going to the Fiorentina v Catania game tomorrow in order to run the rule over the versatile winger and help Arsene Wenger decide whether he should launch a bid for him in January.
Vargas was recently branded ‘unprofessional’ by manager Sinisa Mihajlovic and looks highly likely to be on his way out.
Mihajlovic recently said this of the player after learning that Vargas spent a night out late in the town and turned up to training late.
‘We talked about it when he returned from international duty & I left him out of the squad because he was unprofessional. We discovered the Friday before the Lazio game that he was out late.
If I had known earlier, I would have left him out of the squad for the Lazio game.’
Vargas is a very versatile player. He can play as a left-back, left-winger and occasionally in the centre of midfield. He caught the eyes of the Arsenal scouts with his strong performances in the Copa America, where he captained Peru to third place.
The player is rated at roughly £13 million and if the scouting team send the right signal to Wenger, there might well be a bid for the Peruvian in January.
With Gervinho all set to miss the entire January because of the African Cup Of Nations, Wenger will surely be looking for cover.
However, Sinisa Mihajlovic has not ruled out solving his differences with Vargas:
‘We will see how he behaves during the week. I need the real Vargas, not his less impressive brother.’
In my opinion, Vargas has got a no-nonsense playing style and is also well-known for his aggression and leadership skills. His versatility would be a welcomed Arsenal and would potentially be a good signing for the Gunners in the winter.

Arsenal target Montolivo to leave for free
21 October 2011 - 23:46 GMT, by Nikunj Merchant
Reported Arsenal target Riccardo Montolivo has been informed not to expect a January move, although he will be allowed to leave on a free transfer in the summer.
Montolivo is also being watched by Italian giants AC Milan, but no move will materialize in the winter transfer window as Fiorentina president Mario Cognigni believes that he still has a role to play in the current campaign.
"I don't think that Montolivo will go in January," Cognigni told Rai Tre.
"That's because it is Fiorentina's aim to actually reach some important objectives at the end of the campaign."

Liverpool and Arsenal on alert after Wigan halt Rodallega's contract talks
Wigan have put Hugo Rodallega's contract talks on hold and told him to concentrate on firing them out of danger.
The Colombian striker's deal is up in the summer and Premier League rivals Everton, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal are showing interest.
But Wigan are gambling on delaying a deal until they sort out an early-season slump that has seen them drop to second bottom.
Rodallega made a return from a knee injury in the defeat by Bolton last week and starts at Newcastle.
Wigan boss Roberto Martinez said: 'We're still talking. We've got a very good relationship with his agent, who is in Colombia, so it's sometimes difficult to have continuity in our talks. But it's important that we focus on getting a positive result on the pitch and then all of the individual results will be resolved.'

That's just a silly rumour.
This is the guy who waited 6 months just to get Chamakh on a free.
You actually think he's going cough up £16million for him?

No way is Montolivo worth 16m. Although I wouldn't mind him here for a lesser price.
He's not the AM we're looking for, though. He's more of a deep lying playmaker. IIRC, he does pretty bad when played higher up on the pitch. Also inconsistent as hell.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Arsenal are planning to send five of their young fringe players out on loan after Tuesday’s League Cup tie against Bolton Wanderers, Goal.com has learned.
Ignasi Miquel, Sanchez Watt, Oguzhan Ozyakup, Daniel Boateng and Chuks Aneke are all in line to be loaned out to lower league clubs.
Miquel? not sure about this one, if I was Wenger I would keep him and sell the useless squilaci.

Walcott to Turn Down Juventus and Sign New Deal at the Emirates
Posted on 24 October 2011
There appears to be more good news for Arsenal fans with reports suggesting that winger Theo Walcott is prepared to sign a new long-term contract with the north London club.
The former Southampton midfielder has entered the final 18 months of his contract at the Emirates and there were suggestions that he may decide not to renew his deal.
Arsenal are desperate to tie down the England international as they do not want a repeat of the scenario that saw Samir Nasri enter the final year of his deal and force through a move to Manchester City.
Walcott has always declared that he wanted to stay with Arsenal and has recently declared that he is willing to put pen to paper on a deal, ending speculation that he would join Italian side Juventus.
"I will listen to what Arsenal have to say," Walcott told the Metro. "Hopefully we will sit down with the club soon and talk things over."
Arsenal have now risen to seventh in the league after beating Stoke 3-1 on Sunday and Walcott insists that the team is now ready to kick start their season.
"The team morale at Arsenal is great - the best it's ever been," added Walcott. "To be honest, we have forgotten about the first few games. There is no point in dwelling on it.
"All we can do now is look at what is coming up. And it is looking very positive at the moment. Everyone needs to be alive at what is going on during the game."

I would sell Arshavin for more than 15.
He is not consistent for his age. A few moments of brilliance are not enough for a team like Arsenal. (talking about the next season off course).
And Squillaci can go for any price. 2k?

I would not mind giving up Arshivan so that Squillaci gets to leave also. We can still get some good money and we can get a replacement for Arshivan. I like Arshivan but if the money is right dont mind him leaving.

Just relieving ourselves of Squillaci's $60 K a week would be good, maybe getting 20 million for him and Arsha is wishful thinking, probably like 16-18 million if it were to go through.
