Fiorentina to buy Cassani for ONLY 4.5m!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!

Palermo have confirmed that they have already reached an agreement to sell Mattia Cassani to Fiorentina on a permanent basis.

The Italian international joined the Viola in the summer on loan until June 2012, but it seems his long-term future will be in Florence.

“We have already reached an agreement with Fiorentina,” Palermo sporting director Sean Sogliano told Firenze Viola.

“There will not be any problems with regard to Fiorentina taking up their option to sign him outright.

“Could a deal be brought forward and completed in January? That’s irrelevant. Cassani is already a Viola player.”

The former Juventus youngster will cost Fiorentina €4.5m – a fee that was pre-agreed between the two clubs during the summer.

Sciacca I think they payed 2mil for the loan and now outright 4m. But yes I agree even 6mil is cheap. There was talk of him coming to juve for like 10m. He's one of my favorite players and I was calling him to come to juve! Even had him as my dp. We have lich now who is better however I love watching cassani

Licht may be playing better but he is not worth 3 times the price of Cassani. Face it, we overpayed a bit for Lichtsteiner and Fiorentina stole Cassani from Palermo.

Not saying it wasn't a good move to get Licht, but we actually could have gotten Cassani to be Licht's backup for CHEAPER than what Motta cost...

Actually you both are wrong, I knew all this time. How? You can ask Devi himself and even Pino when I use to say during the market that he was linked to Juventus for 6m only! Nobody believed me, I kept saying SKY was saying it, but Devi said it was not true while the reports in fact were true. In the end he went to Fiorentina instead. If you also refer to the JuventiKnows, they confirm it as well as in fact they also prefered Cassani. Early on in the market, we went striaght for Lich and spent 12m, instead we could of spent half of that, what a waste of money.

By the way, I don't understand that flaud with Zamperini, Balzaretti is leaving for no less than 5m to PSG.

yes they wanted 12, than we got licht for 8.5 ....than Cassani wanted to leave, Zamparini didn't and in the end he left on loan

No, they wanted 6m in total, Lich came early on for 10m total, not 8.5m. Cassani wanted to leave since the Coppa Italia final vs Inter.

Actually no, he's not even worth 10m+. He's still worth less. If he was actually worth more in the past, then I don't understand why Juventus were the only club after him.

Odd for an RB that good, on the European Market, he should of gotten more interest from other clubs, odd... no competition... and yet we still spent more than he's worth.

In EPL Ciy wanteed him and they were in the race with us and you know it since you post it ....in RM he is not needed in Chelsea to ......but u can't deny last season he was best RB and this season so far yes ...instead of being happy about that you go cryign overpaid and stuff like that when even moggi said that he ain't lol

Actually false, Isla was the best RB in Serie A last season. Someone who is in fact worth the money. Lichstiener came in third if not mistaken. Anyways, his price..
