the test was for assumption. no one would take forum reactions seriously so she just wanted to confirm the reaction and show her prof some results before she gets the permission for bigger large scale real life test.

I'm disappointed I-No, though personally I agree with Sportsczy in that I believe a forgiving spirit in this matter is the most generally beneficial.

My main problem however is the attitude you displayed when you played with the emotions of the forum as an action intended to help a friend. How you could hurt so many more 'friends' with such a cruel action without feeling that, even though we will likely never meet, we didn't deserve more consideration than a stranger who hears of a car accident on the news.

You care about your friend, which I understand. However regardless of how one may define the posters in our community as a friend, acquaintance or foe, we're no longer strangers in a forum as close as this, and death transcends what is just a game that we're here to discuss.

That thought is the lesson I hope you'll draw from this, though as I said, even though I'm very disappointed I do attempt to not be judgemental. If you're truly sorry, I forgive you. I also don't blame any others for their reactions however, though I ask that everyone remain civil.

I'm not saying it wasn't stupid and inconsiderate. But nobody got hurt and nobody died in the end lol. People's feelings got hurt... Sure. Also, it was a one time event.
