Yeah, Mesut looks positively disgusted.

When Messi did it, he was 'sucking a lolipop'.

Really meh game against getafe,he would have been my flop of the match if it was not for his assist.

1. He did more than just gave an assist for the first goal. He actually picked the ball from deep for this one. He received the ball from Xabi by his side in our half, run passed his marker then passed to Marcelo on the left side who then passed to Coentrao. Had enough time to make a run and picked the ball back from Coentrao before passed it to Benz.

2. I mentioned in other thread, he was involved in the third goal. It was began when in front of the center of our big box Ozil catched the hoofball from our penalty area, by first touch managed to precisely passed the ball to Di Maria who free on the left side. Di Maria then comfortably passed it to Ronaldo who made a run by his side. Then you saw that magical pass by Ronaldo.

3. I agree about the meh part though. He didn't looked as good as usual (and hence = meh) because Coentrao constantly leaving Xabi limited his offensive influence and he can only do so much, helping Xabi, he ain't ball winner, he wouldn't looked briliant trying to partner Xabi in the midfield, lol. But he contributed too much for the good work from us to be even the candidate of flop of the match imo.

higuain and özil bromancery, they are hanging together outside trainings too

Anyway its great for both Higgy and Ozil, better team chemistry

coentrao running rampant everywhere over the pitch and not staying in the midfield was the reason he (özil) played so badly in the first place lol. atleast xabi will now have a proper midfielder beside him this game so özil can work his magic in the final third of the pitch.

Usual performance by Özil..3 assists today. Great performance
