Fifa 12 is garbage

And It is all thanks to the new shitty defending system. How the f*ck are you supposed to defend this new way. I've been playing for many hours and I never get better at it losing 0-7 online and cant even beat professional vs computer. I used to boss at fifa 11 but this game is just garbage.

Anyone agree?

this game is garbage from winning 9/10 on fifa 11 to get raped by 7 goals while scoring 0 myself. Defending was my best aspect on the previous games now I'm total shite. I cant stand the new defending system or simply get humiliated on these games so I'm gonna crash my ps3 soon

It was way too easy playing before, holding one button to tackle is down rigth disgraceful. It's about time people were challenge to actually think about defending and not just rely on the CPU to do it all for you.

Fair enough.

The game is actually forcing you to PLAY THE GAME. You have to time your tackles and plan your attacks, not just press one button to defend and pass the ball to star players.

Brilliant football simulation Fifa is this year.

I dont understand how everybody online has nailed the defending except for me.

I think It is rather a case of me being WAY to used to the old defending system. And it does indeed take skill took me over a year to become solid in fifa 11. so thats BS.

Well what I did was play with a smaller tema like Birmingham, Bolton and so on and go up against strong attacking teams. It allows me to really just focus on my defending and actually assess my play. It really helps and it makes it easier to make the step up to the bigger teams.

xabi, you should change Tactical Defending to Legacy defending in settings.

problem is I've heard you can't use Legacy defending when playing online
