VDW hype is little bit too much.He is very skilled on the ball but so is raphael though not as good as VDW,but defensively Raphael is better,especially positioning.

Raphael likes to cut in... that's something VDW kinda lacks in comparison.
Ok maybe VDW does seem a bit naive defensively , but Raf as well has been caught out of positions soo many times last in the previous year. I still stand by strength, going forward, technical abilities.

Stronger?maybe.but rafael is much faster and better technically...

Ive watched him at least 10 times and never seen him dribble a player once.I guess I need to watch him more

He came from the ranks from Ajax. I think u dont pass the grade unless if you have certain level of technical ability to graduate from the academy. Watching Raf play for united, I dont see him exactly crossing or passing the ball too well. He does showcase his dribbling skills every now n then.

Ever since barca started coming about the word technical has ben thrown about so much. Vdw is a better technical player? How so? Rafael has better close ball control and is faster.

Rafael is one lucky mother f*cker. He's deserved to be sent off a lot more than just 3 games. Some of his tackles are disgusting. Bar his attitude problems, he's quite good.
