Wesley Sneijder continues at Inter after being the subject of many rumors this summer. Most placed him at Manchester United , but also spoke of the City. However, Sneijder is at Inter, and reveals why: "Mourinho called me and told me to stay."

"Mou called me and told me to Inter. His heart is in this club and has always told me to stay here," said in a statement to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I'm glad I stayed because I never wanted to leave Inter. I do not want to talk about Manchester United. It is true that my agent called and told me that Inter wanted to sell. I talked with United, but then began the process of Samuel Eto'o sales and things changed. "

"Manchester City? Do not know about that topic. I'm happy at Inter. I have a contract until 2015 and I respect it."

Sneijder can't really seem to make decisions for himself can he?

First he goes all shevchenko and only listens to what his wife feels is right and then mou decides for him.
