What does it matter? Di Benedetto has money... Roma has new owners, this is great news for them

Roma dint manage to address their Rb weakness but all in all they've put together a good young team..
If their new acquisitions manage to click this season, brace yourselves for a great roma side for years to come..
Plus they are not a feeder club anymore now with this new found identity..

Atletico has also spent more than Real, Malaga and Barca (who have all spent exactly the same amount, 55M).

Probably Frey and Constant are notable signings..Plus they've signed Mattia Destro(permanently),Cesare Bovo,Andrea Carraciolo,Alexander Merkel(Co-ownership),Ze Eduardo from Santos,Andreas Granqvuist,Valter Birsa(of Slovenia and Auxerre fame)..These are all recognized players plus they've made a few south american signings as well and quite a few loan signings too..All in all it amounts to around 40m euros..
Link:http://www.betinf.com/italy_transfer.htm..
But this website has made a few errors in the past too..

Re: Roma have spent nearly 80m Euro this Mercato
Roma have distanced themselves from reports that Delio Rossi could replace Luis Enrique on the Giallorossi bench.
The Italian has been linked with the hotseat in recent weeks after the Spaniard’s struggles in pre-season.
Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini added more fuel to the fire today when he claimed that Rossi is waiting for a capital call.
“There isn’t a lot to add to the President’s comments,” Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.
“Our Coach is Luis Enrique and he’ll continue to be our Coach for a long time. He’s a great resource for us. There is nothing with Rossi.”
Sabatini has had a busy couple of months as he’s revolutionised the squad following some heavy spending on the transfer market.
“We’re satisfied with what we have achieved,” added the former Palermo official. “We signed all of our targets.”
Roma added four new players to their roster on transfer deadline day alone, with one of those being Fernando Gago of Real Madrid.
“He adds quality, history and charisma to our team,” Sabatini continued. “He’s a player who will be noted at Roma.
“He’ll certainly have a point to prove, but he’s always been an integral part of the Argentine national team.”

Hardly,
DiBenedetto backs Luis Enrique 100% and has said as much after the Bratislava game.
