The Ricardo Effect
Hey Neutral football enthusiasts,
Those of you who have seen the Real Madrid vs Getafe match, what did you think?
At some point i thought the game was slipping from our grasp especially after the second Getafe Humiliating goal; a goal that i have not recently seen in professional matches. Getafe's Miku had all the time in the world to toy with Madrid's defense and send one sleazy juicy low shot to the right of iker. I was completely dumbfounded at that point, actually furious.
Even when Mou decided to throw in the Ricardo card into play, i was like it's just 20 mins remaining, and unlike the previous match where Madrid were playing really good football; this time around, Madrid were playing the worst football since they played Zaragosa last season. But damn this Ricardo erased all my doubts and made one hell of a believer of me. Just like a butterfly he started dancing around the opponents (making as much use as possible from the very few balls his greedy colleagues shared with him).
Ricardo injected madrid with new blood that was lacking when the likes of Ozil and Di Maria were roaming the pitch counting seconds and minutes. At this point the getafe players had to pull back to their half in order to defend against the ruthless Ricardo attacks. That foul on Ricardo was tough by the way and deserved at least a yellow, or did the referee give a yellow already? I think he did.
Finally I thought the turning point this match was Ricardo. I have no doubts that should he not participated in the play, we would have seen a draw.
What were your honest and frank thoughts, guys? Am i the only one here who believes so? I think Ricardo deserves more than just 20 mins of play time. carry on.

If given the chance, I'm sure that Huntsman would engage in an amorous relationship with Kaka.

That assist was great especially that its coming from kaka since it shows he's already gaining some of his lost confidence. Pipita should have celebrated with Kaka first instead of ignoring him and going to celebrate with Ronaldo (just a personal opinion). I have also noticed the indifference look on kaka's face; as if he's saying i ve got nothing else to lose. i m playing 20 mins, i might as well give it all and try to create something for myself out of nothing. My colleagues (or team mates) dont give a bleep so why should i? Let individuality prevail. yeah that kind of look i guess. I am happy to see him going aggressive and thinking more about himself rather than the group. I want to see more aggressiveness on his part.
His speed and pace has imporved; just like i predicted previously in one of my threads. It was more a mental block rather than reaching his physical limits. That type of mental block that makes a player lose precious milliseconds giving the defenders the edge. It was evident that was the problem (nothing to brag about on my part) ever since we all saw how poorly he performed against chinese defenders in the pre-season. If he were to be stopped by some really pro-tough highly rated defenders then one would say Kaka has reached his earthly limits, but given the fact that low profile defenders were able to stop him 4 out of 5 times, one can safely deduce that it was an inner conflict.
It's all now in the hands of mourniho (and kaka) to gain more strength. Kaka still has some 2 to 3 good seasons to provide. if Madrid were to count on the likes of Ozil and Di Maria during difficult times, then Madrid will be pushed to the limits where at one point they will be knocked out. Despite the class of both players; ozil and di maria, they are not even close to match even 0.75% of the class of an injured kaka. That's just me talking; i am not a kaka fan. I just know how to appreciate talent when i see one, and kaka has a lot to offer.
He will not be able to save Madrid everytime if he's only given 20 mins of play time. I demand 30 to 45 mins. That's what i would do if things were in my control. I would win it all. That's for sure; at least in my head.

no question.

Re: Ricardo Kaka
If we were to win and win with ease. If we were to progress in our play, and reach the heights of Barca and more, then Ricardo must start today.
