Well we were in similar situation last year when we visited Arsenal decimated by injuries.Yet Arsenal failed to beat us.Did that mean they can never beat us again?

More often than not when pushed to the limits good teams produce good performances.So its kinda much harder playing against back to the wall mentality than against strong XI particularly winning.

it will be a draw unfortunantly really havent rated liverpools signings at all and arsenal well we are really gonna be depending on vp to pull us through this season by the looks of things if wenger doesnt bring in some more players.

Liverpool were not impressive today in the first half without Suarez! Merieles should start more often, atleast definitely over Hernandez...

I think the whole plan was to keep the game tight and tire down Arsenal for 60-70 minutes, then let Suarez and Raul run at them...

Coincidentally, it happened the same time as Frimpong's red card. Suarez looked very tired last game, so that's why he didn't start IMO

O, and Henderson was actually very good in tackling and keeping possession today..it was Adam who had a shocker, especially in the first half. Calculated performance..many games United don't win prettily. 3 points is all that counts

Problem with Meireles is he is not upto full fitness.He didnt play much in pre season and throwing him at Emirates would have been risky and could have easily caused an injury.We have dont that stupid thing with Gerrard countless times in his career so its good to see that we have learned from our mistakes.
