Re: Mourinho on thin ice at Madrid
This is just a blog LM.
It is highly unlikely that Perez will sack Mourinho even if he loses the next clasicos as he has given Mourinho complete power and improvement is there to be seen.
What Perez might do is ask Mourinho to tone his antics down.

The Sun and a blog entry with rehashed news. Not much to it if you consider the sources.

I know it's only a blog but consider it, do you think another defeat at the hands of Barca would seal his fate?

“I was taught that football was a game for men." said the individual who bravely poked someone in the eye from behind.
Don't believe he will get sacked btw.

I think if they don't win anything this season and suffer worse defeats to Barca it'll be over for him

Sack Mourinho and replace him with.......?
Perez won't sack Mourinho, although I'm 99.99% sure that he'll order Mourinho to appear to be more classy.

Re: Mourinho on thin ice at Madrid
this kind of thread shows how much people know about the mourinho project going on at real madrid, specially from the side of non madridistas.
such rumors have been made even before he even signed his contract with rm.
thread is waste of space

Re: Mourinho on thin ice at Madrid
mourinho's been making progress against barca...
even though they lost they competed very well in the 2nd leg.
plus firing him and getting someone else would only set madrid back because they'd have to get acclimated to the new manager and his style

Re: Mourinho on thin ice at Madrid
You're not the first person feel that way, many Barcelona fans predicted he'll be sacked before the end of last season, and guess what he was give more powers after Fiorentino Perez had given a speech calling Mourinho the true Madridisimo.
A similar instance occurred in Italy, Mourinho was hired by Inter to win Champions league after Mancini had failed many times to bring that trophy home. In his first season he decide to play a 4-3-3 formation with Ibrahimovic as the lone striker, Mancini and Quaresma as his wingers, for some inexplicable reasons, the two wingers and Ibrahimovic flopped badly and he was eliminated in the first knockout round by Manchester United.
The calls for his sack even became louder and Morati (Inter president), issued Mourinho an ultimatum "WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEXT SEASON OR LOSE YOUR JOB". Mourinho endured and in the transfer window he lost Ibrahimovic (who became the 2nd most expensive player in history) in his place he bought a certain Milito, who was 30 years at that time and had no Champions league experience. He had Eto'o as part of the Ibrahimovic deal. He also got Motta from Genoa, Sneijder and Lucio were rejects from the previous clubs and finally he got Pandev in January.
The calls for his sack persisted after a poor group stage performance, where Barcelona totally dominated Inter in the group stages and Inter pulled a string of other poor performances especially away from home. Mourinho kept his calm and promised his players and everyone else after qualifying that, he would win the CL that season, true to his word, he went on to win an unprecedented treble in Italy, but he had already made up his mind and left for Real Madrid.
After winning only the Copa Del Rey last season, a lot of opposition supporters are calling for his head........Déjà vu

Guardiola does it as well, and he gets attack regulary in spain by the madrid media, and as we all "know" he is only acting humble, that is if we belive the pro-mou fans..

Yeah Madrid, sack him and replace him with someone like, oh idk, rafa benitez. Then mou can come back to the boots he left in Milan that no one has been able to fill. Big mistake if Madrid get rid of him...

it's for a completely different reason, genius
point is that mourinho has brought so much hypocrisy and douchebaggery to madrid that even old madridistas like morientes and di stefano started criticizing him/the club... even if there has always been animosity (to put it mildly) between the two clubs, madrid players have acted substantially more disgraceful in the clasicos than under the previous coaches since the first galacticos...
of course the token excuse will be that it's not that madrid players are growing more and more pathetic, it's because barcelona dive so much and calderon's madrid was too weak to care, bla bla bla... fact is that calderon's madrid managed to be competitive in a footballing, not shit-for-brains rugbying way... and barcelona don't dive and simulate as much in other fixtures, you could argue the over-aggressive mourinho's tactics are to blame for that, but that's a chicken and egg argument
