Our Style of Play

I miss our old direct counter attacking tactics, but the play we have now is more conservative on posession. What i realzie from the barca game is we need to increase our passing speed and be more direct. I saw a bit of that during WBA but if we can score goals like the one against man city on a weekly basis, we can be the best side in the world imo.

But i feel this side is turning into being the greatest united side ever.

It's all good and well until we concede a goal, and this style of play goes down the toilet. We need to learn to keep our wits about us and stick to that style of play.

I've noticed it too and it's great to watch. Each player is more composed on the ball, taking time to pick out the pass no matter how tight the space is. Nice intricate one two passes, little flicks in the oppostion's box.

I actually think we will play this style more away from home as it allows us to control the game and allow our midfield to get more involved in the game. At home we will most likely see more direct style where we straight blitzed teams like we did last season. That's what I think anyways.
