i cant belive im the only one who said Gunnar Nordahl. he has something like a .824 OFFICIAL career goal per game ratio. i think thats far better than pele's claimed 1000 + goals

Anyway, to say Argentina is not top ten is quite bizarre. They are the equal fourth most successful team in the history of the world if you judge by the number of World Cups won. They are the second most successful team in the South America if you judge by the number of Copa America's won.

If Argentina's outside the top ten as you say, which teams exactly are in the top ten in your list?

Anyway, the Ballon D"or argument isn't exactly the strongest one. Michel Platini won three in a row, and he's not mentioned in the same breath as Pele, Cruyff, Maradonna. Yes, he's a god of the game, but he's not a titan IMO.

Messi winning ten in a row won't make him a GOAT if he doesn't bring glory to Argentina.

Anyway, our beloved, darling, adorable Messi is only 24 years old, so there's no need for people to feel insecure if he's not regarded as a GOAT.

In terms of my opinion, nobody is better than Pele yet. If there's another player that's won more than three world cups and scored more than 2000 goals, then he's definitely the GOAT.
