Anyone winning at SB is going to be hard, let a lone an arsenal side missing a few players, lets hope wegner learns some 19th century tactics and does us all a favor.

Re: Rival thread
I do not understand how Spurs are still considered a part of this thread!!!
The only teams important to us from now till the end are City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Spurs have lost rights to this threads.

Re: Rival thread
Looking at the fixture lists, Chelsea have it pretty easy apart from their game versus us. They play
Home: Arsenal, Stoke, Sunderland and Norwich.
Away: Crystal Palace, Swansea, Liverpool, Cardiff.
Apart from one game, they are pretty clear favorites to win all of those.
City have it tougher:
Home: Six mid-table opposition (six wins).
Away: Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Crystal Palace.
Arsenal's biggest games are in the next three weeks: Chelsea (A), City (H), Everton (A). After that they will have it easy:
Home: West Ham, Newcastle, West Brom.
Away: Hull, Norwich.
Everton could actually play a big part in the title race as they will still host Arsenal and City.
Crystal Palace will still host, City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
It's also interesting to note that many of the remaining big games are in the next few rounds:
United v City
Arsenal v City
Chelsea v Arsenal
Those are still in March, so the four-way battle for the title - as it is at the moment - could be over by the end of this month. In fact, if City win both of those games, they will be clear favorites for the title, then, because after that the only two games where I can see them drop points are against us and Everton in Merseyside.

Re: Rival thread
Chelsea's results don't affect us anymore as long as we win all of our games (and beat them at home) we'll finish above them.
Neither does Arsenal's results if we take of ourselves.
The only team that we need to drop points at this point is City. Need them to drop 3 points somewhere and then we're golden. Then it's ALL up to ourselves.
I really do believe we'll win our next 9 Cup finals.

Re: Rival thread
Having said that, obviously all 3 of of City, Arsenal, and Chelsea dropping additional points is always nice in case we *knocks on wood* happen to have a bay day at the office.

Re: Rival thread
We don't have a window of dropping more than 3 points till the end from now, 2 if we want a guaranteed title.
Title will be won at or above 86 points. Two teams will be in this till the end. Could be any of the four.

Re: Rival thread
I wouldn't read too much into it. We've got more pressing concerns atm like winning the league. I'll worry about Conner when his time comes.

Re: Rival thread
Arsenal arent winning at Chelsea. But hopefully they can snatch a draw.
The Arsenal vs City at emirates the week after next will be their real test.If they win it then it will be massive for us (as we as Arsenal of course).

I find it interesting that Liverpool always goes out and scouts these talents and then other teams sign them.

Re: Rival thread
so they have 29th March an away game against Crystal Palace and 5th April a home game against Stoke, 13th April Swansea v Chelsea
I dont see them dropping points because of CL fixtures then...I also think they have a good record against Swansea, just hoping that our agents Assaidi and Shelvey will show some magic

Re: Rival thread
The only thing you can use to describe Arsenal is "David Moyes". Arguably the "best team in Europe" without winning anything, and getting absolutely destroyed away from the Emirates. All good though, they're winners.

Re: Rival thread
They'll probably win the FA cup, though, and finish in the top-4 again, so it will have been a good season for them, but this sort of performance just shouldn't happen in a game this big. We should finish above them.
