Top 3. One of the best CB's in the game right now, he is misunderstood because of his aggression. He usually tries to win the ball unless a player has provoked him first. He has an "eye for an eye mentality" about him

Yeh I'd say top 10. The top 10 includes players like Pique, Puyol, Terry, Vidic, Ferdinand, Chiellini, Thiago Silva, Lucio etc.

I love him at CDM much more than CB to be honest.

The way he cut off all air on Messi at El Classicos in which he featured at CDM and marked the little guy, that was very impressive, a whole new Pepe we witnessed on field.

He runs around like a rocket pressuring left and right, is in top physical shape and wins the ball back for the team many times.

Not only was he a monster at CDM with Real Madrid, he was also amazing at that position with Portugal in the few matches he occupied that position in.

But, with the CDM's we got right now, we won't be seeing him at CDM much next season (maybe at El Classico's though, I hope.)

He is free to be badass if he wants but it doesn't mean he has to be a stupid. That's my biggest worry with Pepe and Ramos, they need to use their head more and not only for heading. Carvalho and Arbeloa could teach them a thing or two about smart playing.

Pepe is a menace to beautiful football. Destroys any teams lovely midfield display going on.

An improvement for him would be just to be a little less haphazard. In terms of playing CDM he should play there if Alonso isn't playing.

It's funny in FIFA 11 I actually don't start him because he moves forward too much and is always caught out of position. Too many times the ball has fallen to him in the box and he misses a tap in. FIFA is unrealistic like that unfortunately.

I usually play Ramos at CB with Pepe.

one reason why cant be a good pair i think.

i personally think Ramos at Rb and Pepe at Dm. but unfortunately we need CB's before anything else
