He may not be as recognized as TS, but he may be the best.

Short analyse:

STRENGTHS

Speed: Fast as hell, maybe the fastest CB in the world
Tackling: Great, great tackler, one of the only players who can stop Messi one on one.
Anticipation: First class, one of his best attributes.
Strength: Very strong, nearly impossible to knock him shoulder to shoulder.
Good on the ball: His dribbling is very good for a CB, as well as his ball control.
Distribution: His long-range passes are pretty good, as well as his short passes.
Big game player: Never flops in big games, at least in the last 2 seasons: proved it against Barca many times, Bayern and at the EURO.

WEAKNESS'

Temperament: Gattuso style, becomes agressive, loses his mind.

Not as good as Thiago and Kompany,3rd place is open imo

I wouldn't say he's good on the ball. Also his distribution isn't the best.

His balance isn't the best at times and he can be a bit haphazard.

However in terms of defending, he's one of the best in the World.

i wouldnt trade him even for both ts & kompany tbh

He's poorly balanced because he is literally an extreme athlete and at his height, with agility, strength, speed, jumping, something has to be sacrificed.

I honestly think pepe is actually quite good on the ball but not for a CDM position distribution wise

I saw him many times dribbling 2-3 players, on full speed.
