Everyone's finishing is bad early in the season, unless your name is Messi. Forwards are always the slowest to get to full speed because they need match sharpness the most. Give it 3-4 games and our efficiency will be fine.

Aguero, Gomez, Rossi, RVP, etc. have all looked rusty. It's not surprising.

i like how iker seems to be showing lass support for his mistake that led to the goal over the weekend.

on facebook hes uploading vids of mistakes that he himself has made.

The Spain captain revealed on his Facebook account that he had been held up on the motorway and even posted a photograph, but didn't escape punishment from the Portuguese coach

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has been fined by coach Jose Mourinho after he turned up late for training on Monday morning, even though he was caught in a traffic jam in the Spanish capital.

The Madrid captain was held up in long tailbacks due to torrential rain in the city, and failed to reach the club's training ground in time for the start of the morning session.

The popular shot-stopper revealed the reasons on Facebook and even posted a picture to back up his claims, but says his explanation fell on deaf ears with Mourinho, as the Portuguese coach imposed a fine for his tardiness.

"The week has started badly," Casillas wrote on the social networking site.

"Madrilenos and non-Madrilenos; we have been faced with traffic jams and me, in particular, with a fine from Mourinho for arriving late to the training session. I attach the proof!!!"

Iker equaled Zubizarreta record yesterday against England with 126 international games with spain.
Casillas didn't conceed a goal in 71 of them and he's one game far from breaking the world record.

the chip goal is a position thing and casillas went missing with his positional sense there. on one of the goals that counted, his positioning was at fault. i dont mean to rain on anyone's parade but... such cannot happen again. we are lucky the chip twas offside as well as thwe other shot. cant help but feel we were lucky to escape with such blunders. abotu the save well it exactly what was needed, where was he before?
