Canales on loan to Valencia

I'm reading that Madrid have loaned Canales to Valencia with an option to make the move permanent.

Surprising, I though Canales, 20, was considered to be very promising?

If he peaks, he won't be a backup player anymore, he isn't average. Now, the 1 million question, do you think that he'll bench Ozil anytime soon? Very Happy

If not, why ruin his career? Let him play and develop where he is a starter and plays CAM role Very Happy

Canales cant bench Ozil, i cant see it happening for now. He is going to have to become very special for that imo. or he will have to develop into a different role than Ozil.

People would say Mou ruined Canales and Pedro Leon's development. I'd say it's better for Canales to play and develop in his prime position where he is a starter. In Pedro Leon's case, he wasn't needed because we require fast players on the wings. It's no surprise that Callejon fares very well in the system, I predicted it even before he came to Real Madrid Very Happy

Canales is going to have a great deal of competition at valencia, and Emery has some crazy fetish for rotation; it's going to take time for him to develop imo, I love the new loaning strategy tho, that's virtually 4 years that we give to the kid.

He's going to walk right into the starting 11 at Valencia especially if Mata leaves, it'll be great to see him and Parejo start. I expect Valencia to line up like this next season.
