Fabio Capello
"Jones is a good player but I don't think he is ready for Holland this month," said Capello, unlikely to give Micah Richards any reason for optimism. "Now I need to prepare for the qualifying games for the Euro.
"I make experiments if it's possible when the games are not so important for the qualification. I always pick my best team for the qualifiers and then look at others in the friendlies.
"But this game I can't do that. It is very important because we then have a really short time to prepare the game and the next qualification games."
Joke of a manager.

Granted, but hes a stubborn S.O.B who really does'nt have a clue what tactics this england team needs. It was different in the past because if he didnt have those players to fit his ideals he could just buy them.

Meh he knows he's getting sacked next year, so he doesn't really give a rat's ass anymore
Kinda like getting let go from work but being told you can finish off the rest of the week. As if you're going to go at it guns blazing and 100% committed

The good news is he'll be gone in a year thankfully.
The bad news is 'Arry will probably be his replacement.

Who do you want as his replacement, i have been looking through english coaches extensively over the last few weeks since the Mclaren fiasco and quite frankly dont see anyone who could do a better job( as sad as that is to say).

We shouldn't blame Capello. It's all England's fault Phil Jones and Micah Richards deserve calls ups to the national team.

Yes its england's fought that Capello plays people that should'nt play and plays people out of position because of his out of date tactics, stubbornness and playing tactics that simply dont suit the players england have.
Yep england's fought

And you do know, like all the past managers. Capello is doing as well as the quality of the players he has. Just get it through your head, that there aren't that many quality players in England. Owen is not top tier internationally, he is a good player only, and he is the best England has. Qualifying for the Euros is not an easy thing for England, and Capello will get it done.

We've actually done better under Erikson than under Capello.

Owen has'nt played for England since Capello took over btw
And iam aware of Capello's record one of the best club managers i have seen in my lifetime, hes just not cut out for international management imo.
England has quality, not quality of top 5 teams but quality none the less and the main problem is the managers of England and this includes before Capello dont seem to understand what tactics and formation fits the players that England have.

Re: Fabio Capello
English players poor technically? Not Wilshere, McEachran, Sturridge and the new wave of English talent.
Is there at least a British manager who'd be good enough for the job? If you've already got an Italian, who cares if the next one comes from the colonies and not Jolly Old England.
