It seems there is some chance Brazil play against Iraq next year, at least this is what Zico has been saying.

The match would/will take place in Baghdad

Thiago Silva is the chosen captain.

Adriano is out with injury, so Alex Sandro will start.

The confirmed line-up:

Diego Alves, Daniel Alves, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Alex Sandro, Lucas Leiva, Fernandinho, Hernanes, Bruno César, Hulk e Jonas

No Willian, Hernanes out wide. Clubber

4-2-2-2  i love it,it flows so naturally,it will be even better when neymar gets in the lineup instead of hulk.

----------D. Alves------------
Alves-T. Silva-D. Luiz-Marcelo
-------Lucas-Fernandinho-----
----Lucas-----------Ganso------
------Damiao--------Neymar----

pretty amazing to see our best attacking players on the Brasileirao

About Robinho, thats no news,Santos' president already said last year after they won the libertadores that they planned on getting Binho in 2012.I have no idea how he will get in he lineup though,no spot for him.

I particularly prefer 4-2-3-1.

Santos should be after defenders, Durval and Dracena sucks, let alone Pará.

im not a big fan of the 4-2-3-1,our midfield has always looked so weak in that formation.

The problem with 4231 for Brazil is you would be putting strikers/forwards in those wide positions of the band of 3.

You will require defensive work and awareness they arent used to doing and it will detract from both your attack and your defending.

Yes, wingers are frequently far too wide, sometimes even blocking fullbacks' forward runs. It's a matter of positioning, in fact.

4-2-2-2 or 4-3-1-2 are easier systems to adopt considering the kind of players we've got, and specially to the Brazil-based players.

Either way attacking players will need to drop deep and have some degree of defensive duty or else we'll keep seeing the midfield gettin' overrun even by lesser opponents like Ecuador, Ghana and Costa Rica.

Well,at least we are starting to form our starting 11.

Its really stupid how CBF got all of though friendlies on the beginning of the rebuilding and now that we found a team were getting the scrub oppositions.

Don't think our starting XI is that defined.

There's no undisputed starter at GK, RB, AM.

Give Diego Alves a few more shots than I fully believe he will be the undisputed starter at GK, if Mano shows faith in him.

That's why I said "starting to form a starting 11".whoever the gk is doesn't really matter IMO hey are all quality.Cesar already lost the position if you ask me,it's between Jefferson and alves.the rb is alves for sure, not like we have a lot of better options.the only thing missing is our 10(s),it's between Lucas, ganso, dinho, kaka and hernanes.ganso is a must once he gets back in form.

It seems Brazil's proposed game against Iraq in Baghdad may happen as early as February 2012.
