Report: Menez to PSG tonight



Jeremy Menez could leave the Roma training camp tonight to complete his €8m transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

There are reports the French international is already packing his bags and leaving the Giallorossi jersey behind.


According to the latest news from France, Menez will become the first major signing for Leonardo as director general of PSG.


The deal is worth around €8m for a permanent transfer and Menez did not take part in today’s friendly match with Sud Tirol.


Menez spent three seasons at Roma, but never really won over the fans or local media.

Luis Enrique confirmed too, that Menez was negotiating with another club.We'll see how it will end.I want Vucinic to stay, Menez can go, he wont play much under Luis.

Shame, he could've been a huge star in Serie A if it wasn't for his massive ego and temper.

With Milan, Inter, a resurgent Juve, etc., Roma's hopes to qualify for CL in the future are dimming quickly.

Another example showing talent only makes 50% of the player.

Oh.My.God what a freakin STEAL for PSG if this comes true. Menez is going to be a player for sure. He didn't play at all in the second half of last season due to his disagreements with Montella, but in the first half, in my opinion he was our top player. His statistics don't lend to this, but he was a force in CL and domestic play.

I will be devastated if he does indeed switch, take that as you will PSG tifosi.

Damn. I wish Juve was offering more.

I'm also surprised Juveventus have'nt made any sort move for him. They need a left winger and he was available on cheap. Maybe they didn't want him because of his temper and ego problems. Anyway PSG has a deadly attack with Nene, Menez and Gameiro and with the possibility of Marvin or Taarabt coming, their attack really will be among the world's most deadliest.

He had our number in the first leg, scored an amazing goal outside the box and was a pest all games long.

I don't see him play consistently, but it sounds like a nice little coup for PSG.

Because if you have you will see what an average player he is.All he does is dive constantly,really lazy and selfish ...

Very talented, but will be a problem for any team. Roma should be happy.

Very true. I'm not going to miss him all that much, if at all. Though I think we could and should have held out for more than 8 million, considering we got him for more than that.

I expect a Gourcuff-esque result from this though.
