The effects of the Me Too movement?

Ok so Ive just watched part of the series The Morning Show n think its been great so far... pls dont post spoilers or anything about it since I like to continue watching without knowing anything Anyway, Im outdated as usual about these topics since theres like zero effect on my life where I am, but always interested to know more. Ive only seen the news about it on n off over these yrs n know its been a huge thing n prolly changed many things about society like Covid? The series has been great in that it reflects all sides of the issue, both the victims, the guilty, the surrounding ppl, effects, etc... though more in a corporate environment.

Im just wondering how has it effected ppl n society in general? I also know many think its gone too far n basically made a lot of ppl somewhat less whats the word 'enthusiastic' socially, like Covid?
