Is it though? I predicted long ago that its gonna look more hectic without a controller like Kroos and Mbappe/Vincius will have a ego clash in the same way Neymar and Mbappe had and for the same reasons (Mbappe is not a striker)

Lol, Myesyats is just trolling us and is super sensitive about things wrong (that he presumedly thinks) about Barca. And the Naive one is being well his usual irately self!

The reality is both teams have problems. Barca with their financial problems and literally no backup strength plus dealing with injuries. However they have had a good start to the season and a reasonable draw in CL so that has given them hope for this season.

On the contrast Madrid has had a poor start to the season. There are several issues behind this. One is Vini and Mbappe need to learn how to play together, the midfield has several problems beginning with the injuries to Camavinga and Bellingham, poor performances from Tchouameni and Modric and lack of creativity. That seemed ok once Güler came on in last 20 minutes of last game, but wasn’t there in the game before. It seems Perez is aware of this as he said yesterday, he is planning on trying to sign both Rodri and Wirtz for next season. And yesterday, they prevented Ceballos from leaving for Betis as they need him because of the injuries. Meanwhile there are question marks with the defense. Militao is being inconsistent (again) and Mendy is having some issues. Davies won’t arrive until next season. Then in addition, as Carlo says, the team isn’t compact enough, both on offense and defense. That’s a lot to resolve, but I like Pedram expect Carlo to resolve it.
